SINOSSI
In un bosco, due fratelli raccolgono legna da ardere. Il loro scambio di provocazioni rivela gradualmente un rapporto segnato da umiliazioni e dinamiche di potere. Quando entra in gioco un coltello, la tensione sale. Il fratello minore cerca di affermare la propria posizione, ma così facendo rischia di riprodurre lo stesso modello di dominazione che odia e rifiuta. Il suo bisogno di essere rispettato lo spinge sempre più vicino a un atto irreversibile.
SYNOPSIS
In a forest, two brothers gather firewood. Their exchange of provocations gradually reveals a relationship marked by humiliation and power dynamics. When a knife enters the picture, the tension rises. The younger brother tries to assert his position, but in doing so he risks reproducing the same model of dominance he hates and rejects. His need to be respected draws him closer and closer to an irreversible act.

Giovanni Cerisara è un filmmaker italiano di 27 anni residente a Berlino. È cresciuto in un piccolo villaggio ai piedi delle montagne, ai margini di un bosco. Il suo lavoro si muove tra vita rurale, memoria e infanzia, concentrandosi su ciò che emerge dalle situazioni semplici, dove i piccoli gesti acquistano peso e le cose ordinarie rivelano qualcosa di più profondo.

Giovanni Cerisara is an Italian, 27 years old, filmmaker based in Berlin. He grew up in a small village beneath the mountains, at the edge of a forest. His work moves between rural life, memory, and childhood, focusing on what emerges from simple situations, where small gestures gain weight and ordinary things reveal something deeper.
