Cinque sconosciuti, nella mente di una giovane donna, vengono misteriosamente riuniti con un unico compito: giudicare… un semplice tormentone musicale. Il loro unico metro di giudizio? 10/10. SYNOPSIS
Five strangers, in the mind of a young woman, are mysteriously brought together, all tasked with judging… a simple earworm. Their only scale of judgment? 10/10. No other score is allowed. Within the walls of a multifaceted prison, these unlikely judges struggle with their own obsessions, desires for approval, and fears of failure. Their quest? To achieve nearly perfect music. In this third film of the “Anti” trilogy, Léonie Savard offers a quirky and humorous exploration of human flaws: the absurdity of social expectations, performance anxiety, and the incessant pursuit of validation.
BIOGRAFIA DELLA REGISTA
Dopo aver sviluppato un’intesa artistica con diversi insegnanti che le hanno trasmesso la passione per il cinema al Cégep de Saint-Félicien, Léonie Savard ha deciso di proseguire i suoi studi superiori nel campo dell’animazione. Studentessa del corso di Bachelor of Arts and Science in Animation dal 2024, la regista emergente è appassionata di questo medium e punta a farlo diventare la sua professione. Con un interesse particolare per l’animazione di marionette in stop-motion, ha riscosso successo nei festival con il suo primo cortometraggio in pixillation, Antitutoriel. I mondi che crea sono tinti di un umorismo strano e insolito.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
After developing an artistic chemistry with several teachers who instilled in her a passion for cinema at Cégep de Saint-Félicien, Léonie Savard decided to continue her higher education in animation. A student in the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Animation program since 2024, the emerging director is passionate about this medium and aims to make it her profession. With a particular interest in stop-motion puppet animation, she has found success at festivals with her early pixilation short film Antitutoriel. The worlds she creates are tinged with strange and offbeat humor.
