SINOSSI
24 febbraio, 2022. Veronika Vasylyeva, una regista e sceneggiatrice ucraina, cade in una profonda tristezza a causa di ciò che sta accadendo nel suo paese e per il suo futuro incerto nel cinema. Durante la guerra, inizia a pensare al film che avrebbe voluto fare e che forse non potrà mai realizzare: una storia d’amore.
SYNOPSIS
February 24th, 2022. Veronika Vasylyeva, a Ukrainian director and screenwriter, falls into a deep sadness because of what is happening in her country and her uncertain future in cinema. During the war, she begins to think about the film she would have liked to make and that she may never be able to: a love story.
BIOGRAFIA DEL REGISTA
Luca Arcangeli è un regista e sceneggiatore e ha conseguito una laurea presso l’Università Roma Tre e un Master alla Sapienza Università di Roma. I suoi cortometraggi sono stati presentati in concorso al Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival e si è formato sotto la guida di John Landis e Marco Bellocchio. Ha preso parte a diverse giurie giovani in festival come la Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, San Sebastián, Alice nella città e Pesaro. È membro dell’EFA, del SNCCI ed è redattore della rivista Taxi Drivers.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
Luca Arcangeli is a director and screenwriter. He earned a degree from Roma Tre University and a Master’s degree from Sapienza University of Rome. His short films have screened In Competition at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and he has been mentored by John Landis and Marco Bellocchio. He took part on several youth juries at festivals such as the Mostra del Cinema di Venezia, San Sebastián, Alice nella città and Pesaro. He is a member of the EFA, of the SNCCI and writes for the Taxi Drivers magazine.
