SINOSSI
Villeneuve-Lès-Maguelone, sabato mattina. Raoul, giovane adolescente, sta aspettando Serge, con il quale trascorrerà il fine settimana. Diviso tra l’impazienza di riallacciare i rapporti con quest’uomo di cui sa così poco e il disprezzo per questo padre atipico e folle, temporaneamente uscito di prigione, Raoul è costretto a trovare la sua strada durante un viaggio on the road attraverso i ricordi della sua infanzia…
SYNOPSIS
Villeneuve-Lès-Maguelone, Saturday morning. Raoul, a young teenager, is waiting for Serge, with whom he is going to spend the weekend. Torn between the eagerness to reconnect with this man he knows so little about and contempt for this unconventional, erratic father temporarily out of prison, Raoul is forced to find his own way during a road trip through the memories of his childhood…
BIOGRAFIA DELLA REGISTA
Come sceneggiatrice e regista, Jennifer Fanjeaux sviluppa uno stile cinematografico al tempo stesso sensibile e crudo, incentrato sulla visione infantile delle figure genitoriali disfunzionali. Dopo aver studiato storia e aver aderito al CEEA e a La Fémis, ha scritto per la televisione e il cinema, prima di dedicarsi alla regia con The Juggler (2025). Attualmente sta lavorando al suo secondo cortometraggio, Du sel sur la plaie, e sta sviluppando due lungometraggi sostenuti dal CNC.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY
As a screenwriter and director, Jennifer Fanjeaux develops a cinematic style that is both sensitive and raw, focusing on children’s perspectives of dysfunctional parental figures. After studying history and joining the CEEA and La Fémis, she wrote for television and cinema before turning to directing with The Juggler (2025). She is currently working on her second short film, Du sel sur la plaie, and is developing two feature films supported by the CNC.
